Humpty Dumpty's penfriend

A little while ago, I met a new friend. Not to disclose her identity, I will just say what matters for this post: like me, she likes role playing with her dolls and we started doing that by letting our Humpty Dumpty (by Nefer Kane) dolls correspond, even while hers is still in production. I am very happy to do this, even though at times I feel like I'm too busy for play. It has been a wonderful experience: a bit of a writing exercise, a bit of a game, and mostly - a huge help to bond with this particular doll and through it, all of my dolls in general. Thank you, my dear friend.
And now, below the cut, the first batch of the Humpty Letters. Hers are bonded, mine are italicized. Enjoy and - there will be the next batch when we hit #15 or so.

So a Humpty girl said..

BJD 30-Day challenge: Day 24

I realized I accidentally answered the question no. 23 twice, but since both answers are true - I'm going to keep both of them!

Q: What about your favourite part of the hobby?

A: I think photostories. We all do photography, but the challenge of a story is to have a meaningful 'script' and to make the dolls look 'alive' - which to.me is the ultimate goal of the hobby anyway, hence the jointedness :) At the same time, demands placed on the quality of every single picture are a little lower in photostories, which is liberating...
Here is my first (and so far only) complete and published photostory:

http://flic.kr/s/aHsjuF6rEE

(It's a Flickr set, just click every picture in order and see text underneath)
I also bought a couple of stop-motion apps and plan on taking photostories to the next level of actual moves starring my dolls. Oh, if only I had time.... :))))

BJD 30-day Challenge: Day 6

Q: Biggest size you own? (Have held/seen/like)

A: I have one SD, and honestly, I don't think I'll get another one ever. Elfdoll Mir has always fascinated me; he probably has the most elaborate and detailed background story of all my dolls, and I have put a lot of thought into his looks and outfits. But SDs are just not my cup of tea. Even Kaye Wiggs's dolls - IF I can ever afford one (big if) I'm getting an MSD by her.

Here is the guy (Ichiro Wakahisa) in his modern-day outfit, still missing a wig he has on today:
